At Red Dragon Conservation, we support the stewards of fine art, culturally significant historical artifacts, as well as personal treasures, with a focus on 3-D objects and textiles. 

 

For collections, we offer complete, science-based preservation systems and maintenance policies that are strategically adapted to the unique needs and budget of our clients. 

 

We pride ourselves on rigorous research and analysis, augmenting the understanding of history, materials and technologies that pertain to pieces that we take on for preservation, and share that information with our clients. 

 

We do museum quality work, without the overhead of a large corporation. All of our conservation work adheres to the Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice of the American Institute for the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC), while appreciating the ambiguous nature of ethics when not dictated from a position of ex-colonial powers. We believe that a diversity of perspectives matter. 

 

We are located in historic Crockett, California, on the Carquinez Strait. This central location allows us to serve the San Francisco Bay Area, the Napa and Sonoma wine country, and our beautiful capital, in the Sacramento Valley.
